From Kuala Lumpur, exit at the Sungkai toll gate, turn right at the junction and take the main road leading to the Shell petrol station, where a signboard on the right points to direction where the Wildlife Conservation Center is.

Instead, we ended up at the Tasik Titiwangsa, the recreational park situated right in the middle of the city of Kuala Lumpur. After the Pekeliling roundabout, a left turning along Jalan Tun Razak will take you to the park.

DSC_2750T.jpgThe forest is located to the North of Kuala Lumpur. From Jalan Ipoh, take a right into Jalan Sungai Tua. Follow the signages towards Hulu Yam. It is actually a catchment area for water supply for the City of Kuala Lumpur, and it is easily reachable by car.

Sungai Gabai, Hulu Langat

Shah Alam Lake Garden

 The City of Shah Alam is the new capital for the state of Selangor and is only half an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. One could also take the LRT (Light-rapid transit train) to Shah Alam as an alternative.
