The hidden forest treasure not far from Kuala Lumpur Metropolis provides a golden opportunity to visitors to relax their minds. The cool and clear river flowing through Ampang Recreational Forest is indeed a haven for picnickers. Crowds will be seen camping, picknicking and bathing in the nearby Sg. Ampang. Visitors are seen enjoying the dip in the river, splashing water with their friends and loved ones.

Several jungle treks are also available for those looking for an adventurous outing at this recreational forest.

As we stroll down the park, we also noticed that this forest reserve attracts nature lovers, photographers and picnickers alike. The main attraction here is the gushing waters of the waterfall. Plenty of sheltered areas for camping, and food stalls as well as children playground are made available to visitors.

Virtually unknown to many outsiders, Taman Rimba Ampang is a small recreational park with a small and shallow river. Those who wanted a short break from the fast paced Kuala Lumpur city life can visit this park for its quiet and peaceful environment with the river's cool and clear water.

The variety of vegetation in the park with its equally unique form and design, had always captivated my artistic attention. Capturing these moment through my camera lense, it gives me such an undescribable sense of pleasure, constantly adding it to my imagebank collection.
