The weekend trekking leads us to the Taman Rimba Ampang, at Bukit Belacan near Sg. Ampang, is easily accessible, only 13.5km east from the Federal capital.

The hidden forest treasure not far from Kuala Lumpur Metropolis provides a golden opportunity to visitors to relax their minds. The cool and clear river flowing through Ampang Recreational Forest is indeed a haven for picnickers. Crowds will be seen camping, picknicking and bathing in the nearby Sg. Ampang. Visitors are seen enjoying the dip in the river, splashing water with their friends and loved ones.
Several jungle treks are also available for those looking for an adventurous outing at this recreational forest.

As we stroll down the park, we also noticed that this forest reserve attracts nature lovers, photographers and picnickers alike. The main attraction here is the gushing waters of the waterfall. Plenty of sheltered areas for camping, and food stalls as well as children playground are made available to visitors.
